Stage Time: It’s always best to schedule the performance toward the end of the night. Allow for everyone to finish their meal and already have their dessert before the entertainment. That way people aren’t distracted and feel free to laugh without food flying out of their mouths.

30-35 minutes is usually the best window for comedy at a banquet. You never want it to go on for too long because people will start to get restless at the end of a long night.

Taylor still ends his show with a message tailored to the type of banquet. It’s much shorter, more like a nice thought in 2 or 3 minutes before closing out his time.
