A night of laughter, stories, and being together.
Laughing at the parts of life we’re usually too afraid to even talk about.
In his new storytelling show, comedian Taylor Johnson tells surprising and hilarious true stories about mental health, Mister Rogers, and all the ridiculous things we do when we feel like we're falling apart.
With a mix of hilarious storytelling and surprising honesty, Taylor creates a space where you feel safe to laugh, cry, reflect, call a loved one, hug a librarian, or write a kind letter to a sick cat.

Yes! While there isn’t any hard language or inappropriate material, the show does include serious moments around depression and suicide. The recommended audience is at least 13 and older.

Yes? No? Not exactly? There’s not a single point or takeaway that’s the same for everyone. The beauty of a storytelling show is how open ended it can be. People can find meaning anywhere.

When we think about why it’s important to talk about suicide, it’s too narrow to just picture those currently tempted to take their own lives. We are surrounded by peopled affected in different ways.
Some lost someone close to suicide, or are currently doing everything they can to care for someone in hopes they don’t lose them. There are those who only found out recently the truth about a loved one’s death and don’t know how to feel about it. There are those who struggled a long time ago and still don’t know how to talk about that season. The painful effects of suicide may go unspoken but spread through communities like wildfire.
We need places where people feel safe enough to have meaningful conversations around our strong feelings about being alive.
