Staying Organized
Full Focus Planner - I am not an organized person but this planner was the biggest help in the world. Structure your days, set priorities, track goals. It’s great.
Trello - app I use to keep track of what I’ve already recorded for my podcast and what I still need to record so I stay organized.
Post Ideas
Got a photo from your first year of ministry? Share that!
2 minute video of you telling the story of one of the silliest mistakes you made on stage early on in ministry
What’s a book you’ve been reading lately? What’s a quote from it that has really stuck with you?
What spiritual discipline are you hoping to grow in during this strange time? Give people behind the scenes. Share weaknesses. Give people a journey to follow. Show them little updates of things you’re trying. Ask for help. Post what’s helped you get better at it.
Don’t do a livestream…everyone is doing a livestream. Do something different. Post a video. Keep it short.
Get Newsletter Subscribers
Do you have an older book/resource that isn’t really a big seller anymore? Give it away for free! Tell people they can download it for free THIS WEEK ONLY (or something like that) if they sign up for your newsletter. If you use Mailchimp (which is really easy) you can set up an automatic response e-mail to everyone who joins a mailing list.
Create a list. Call it “Newsletter.”
Create an automated e-mail to welcome news subscribers.
Put the link to the download in that e-mail.
Create a sign-up form that is connected to the “Newsletter” list.
Put that form on your website.
Send weekly newsletters! Give value for free for while before asking for any sort of support.
